I do not mass-produce. Each work requires time and patience, and carries its own nuances.
These are unique creations. I sometimes think of my fellow artist JAR, the Parisian jeweler based on Place Vendôme (Paris 1st arrondissement) since 1978, whose discretion I admire. When I started, I had neither a network nor social media. Yet my first works found their first eyes, then their first collectors. From person to person. By word of mouth. Someone would look. Something would catch their eye. Then the image would continue on its journey.
I love the idea that a single work can leave traces of light across different worlds over time. _. Like one lighthouse answering another lighthouse.
I call this an adoption rather than a simple purchase. Adopting a TheBroithers’s work means welcoming a presence, a singular presence, a pleasant emotion. An image, a springboard, a breath of relief.
In 2024, I exhibited my work for the first time at the Paris International Contemporary Art Fair. That same year, one of my first pieces found a home near Switzerland, it was a blue heart titled Poem and Odyssey,a poem chosen by a man for the woman he loved. His girlfriend had truly “fallen in love” with this piece (the pun was unintentional). Today, the piece hangs above her fireplace in the French countryside.
A little Millennial memory: in middle school, I auditioned to play Penelope in a musical, The Iliad and the Odyssey. I got the part. A memory that still makes me smile. Odyssey, Odyssey.
Since then, I’ve continued to create with the same high standards: to produce works designed to last a lifetime, elegant, lively when needed, and timeless and to accompany those who welcome them, wear them, and read them.

Skull?...I see a "head of life." I love this expression, because it celebrates what the eyes cannot see. Our skeleton. Silent, faithful... it has been with us since our first breath. It supports us. It keeps us standing. And it reminds us that beyond appearances, we all share the same foundation.
Yellow, black, brown, beige, pink...
No matter the skin tone, the skeleton remains a universal language. Just like the very fact of “being.” I often think of rock art, with its symbols. Getting to the heart of the matter. ... I think of college, my bachelor’s degree in information and communication, the course on the semiotics of images, and so on. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been drawn to archaeology and ancient, primitive symbolsto that first mark a human being left behind to say, “I was here.”
The line has become a symbol in my life.

I love the idea that a painting continues on its journey without me. Stepping into a TheBroithers's painting means agreeing to travel, to discover, to be surprised, to marvel. That’s the truth.A treasure map with a thousand and one secrets. A thousand and one days. A thousand and one nights.Just like when you opened a book as a child, or followed Mary Poppins without knowing where she would take you.
I think of Édouard H., Pamela Lyndon Travers, and all those artists who remind us that imagination matters to reality. We may belong to different cultures, histories, or paths… Yet each of us carries unique DNA, a sensitivity, a nuance, wounds, hopes. We belong to the same whole, without ever ceasing to be unique.
It is this uniqueness that I celebrate. Deep down, I believe that almost all of us are looking for the same thing: to be recognized, to be welcomed, to find a place where we can be at peace. To love.
Every creator... leaves a mark. An energy
Walt Disney had his mouse. J. K. Rowling had her Harry Potter. Gabrielle Chanel had her "Coco" style. Pamela Lyndon Travers had her Mary Poppins.
Leonardo da Vinci had his Mona Lisa. And I… I imagined TheBroithers’s.
Not to erase our differences, but to remind us that they can become bridges that save us rather than barriers.
PUZZLE. I believe we all carry a part of goodness within us. Sometimes, it is simply waiting to be nurtured.

I think of Gabrielle Chanel. The House she founded outlived her, carried forward by other hands, other perspectives, other eras. Her language continues to live on and to be interpreted. But a creation imagined and crafted by Gabrielle Chanel herself belongs, by its very nature, to a time that will never return: that of the founder. This is the distinction I make, in my own language, between a Nuance and a Variation.
As long as I’m here… and my hands are creating, every Nuance TheBroithers’s is born directly from its source. One day, if someone takes up the torch, it won’t be me. They’ll interpret this legacy: it will then be a Variation TheBroithers’s. But not a true TheBroithers’s… and true Chanels are rare… . Just like Banksy, Basquiat, and so on.
Thus, as long as her hands and soul continue to bring to life the paintings that serve as space-time portals, the writings…, the songs…, the pieces of the heart, each shade/Nuance, each interpretation remains an authentic and singular creation.

Innocence is priceless. I believe it takes a great deal of courage to continue nurturing it within oneself, starting in childhood. I feel that I have preserved that sense of innocence. It is also what nourishes my perspective as a woman, my creativity, and my way of loving. I think of those who, despite their trials, have managed to hold onto that inner light. Just these: Lady Diana, Michael Jackson, Walt Disney, Tim Burton, Pamela L. Travers, J. K. Rowling, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Hayao Miyazaki, all these diverse shades…[Mentioning them here obviously doesn’t mean holding them up as absolute role models. No one is perfect, and no life can be reduced to its shadows or its light alone. I believe that within each of us lies a seed of goodness: sometimes it sprouts, sometimes it doesn’t. I simply choose to recognize and embrace what, in others, does good, uplifts, or inspires without necessarily endorsing everything.] Each, in their own way, inspires in me the idea that it’s possible to grow up without giving up a sense of wonder. I used to be ashamed of that. But that’s over now.

Children's Painting, ... marilyn & perfume
“Blessed are those who understood that we are nuances of color, not animated Barbapapas.”
Here we are.
From a very early age, we’re taught what’s black, what’s white, and other colors. One day, we lose our way and express ourselves with an excess of metaphors: we mistake green for blue, white for pink, beige for white, brown for black, purple for red, and so on. Words can cause harm to those who lie to themselves or to the Other, the stranger.
Being white means white; being pink means pink; being red means red; being green means green; being black means black, and so on. Being black as obsidian… but oops! Even obsidian has shades of white and highlights. Go check out the work of my colleague Pierre Soulages. Children were drawn to my painting; some adults saw a perfume ad; and others, like me, thought of Marilyn’s silkscreen prints and worlds of every color and their shades… and other things.
Others… Others didn’t know why they were moved, drawn in… Reflection. Peace.
Children, and those who remember being children… love this painting. That is one interpretation, and I leave it open to interpretation.

Between passages, shades, and liberated sorrows.
This painting was my first real connection at the International Contemporary Art Fair in Paris in 2024. She was an English-speaking woman, blonde, perhaps in her forties, accompanied by her husband. She stopped in front of my painting, and her face lit up: “Wow… I love it!”
She didn't know me. I didn't know her.
And yet, the image had already spoken volumes.
It was my first hook. My first spontaneous encounter with a gaze from elsewhere.
You never forget your first real connexion with the world.
