" I can't help thinking of the pleasant smell of modeling clay at school..."

This pocket sculpture was born of this memory of innocence, preserved in an old family home. Harmonious to the eye thanks to the golden ratio, it invites us to rediscover the simple, universal pleasure of creating, touching and shaping.

To my fellow artists Takashi Murakami, Damien Hirst, Claes Oldenburg, Gaston Chaissac and others. All have sometimes worked with simple, malleable materials to create playful, childlike worlds. Here, the same approach applies: touching, kneading, shaping... gestures that take us back to the heart.

I like to juggle the elaborate and the simple, like my fellow artist Banksy. The committed and the useful. Beauty isn't enough: it has to soothe. This piece offers a fiercely genuine innocence, a nod to simple materials and natural forms, worked with love and spontaneity.

Each vide-poche is unique, conceived as a gift for those who wish to be surrounded by a little sweetness, a little wonder. An interlude for the soul, a pleasure for the eyes.
