Characteristics of the work of art

"I can't help thinking of the pleasant smell of modeling clay at school...

Giving those little gifts that still carry the innocence, still preserved on our adult shelf, in an
family home.
Harmonious to the eye, as the golden ratio has permeated the work.

who have also sometimes worked with simple, malleable materials for their installations and works in a playful, childlike universe.

In adulthood, it's much the same: dipping your fingers in the bowl of cake batter, savoring, laughing with your nieces and nephews, friends, loved ones, children, others, worlds.

Pleasant thoughts that bring us back to the heart.

I like to juggle the elaborate and the simple, like my fellow artist Banksy.
The committed and the useful. I can't help thinking of Banksy's Girl with a Balloon (2002, sold for around 21.8
million euros), a drawing stenciled on a wall - at once simple and elaborate, carrying a message
of hope.
Red, white and black, like my flagship canvas, a flag of Peace.

I believe that the artist, with a capital A, is the one who manages to create a harmonious symphony between beauty, resilience and humility - a skilful blend of spontaneity, finesse and rawness.
But he also manages to evoke a hint of the wonderful around him; he won't do it on purpose, it's innate.
There are episodes in life that shape... and deliver.
In the case of trials, the authentic artist knows how to deal with them... I think... as he should. Voilà."

This pocket-size sculpture is neither too big nor too small:

On the wire. Who is TheBroithers's?
 

A story written with restraint, sometimes with a certain carelessness, like a breath between two silences, a tuned breath.
As if after quenching their thirst, the souls draw closer together, revealing and recognizing each other. [Continued in the book]
 

After experiencing true Love, I lived (by choice) Love by proxy: happy to see beings in love, like Phoebe's metaphor in Charmed after losing Cole Turner, before finding Coop.
(Just one vintage metaphor among many, out of my inner library... which looks, only bigger, like the library in Beauty and the Beast. My food for thought. [...])
 

In reality, I didn't want to reopen my heart for the sake of reopening it, but to recognize the Great Thrill. So, for 7 years I lived Love by proxy. Yes, you read that right. I leave that up to interpretation.
But now, my heart is serene and clean; it has learned the taste of solitude and is now ready, serene, for a healthy, solid, fun, cool, lasting Love... but serene. "Before you can want... you first have to learn 'to'."

Taking for the sake of taking is not my style. And I believe in the afterlife.
When you've lived alone by choice, to take care of yourself without bothering others, when there are humans who find all this "pleasant"... something is created.

I thought it was a legend... but we're hardly afraid of anything anymore.
Except to cause pain, because we don't know if the other person is as reedy as we are.

To those thunderbolts that were avoided or brushed aside:
"Yes, some of us have waited for him... I know. And here he is. Maybe one day, one morning, one evening, you smiled or clapped or talked to her, and she didn't see you... or maybe you did.

This book is an experiment.
A journey begun in late 2021, set aside like a celestial wine.
It has been enriched with photographs, colorful mini-cartoons and a raw, delicate style of writing. And yet, it costs less than a top-of-the-range raspberry tart or a jar of chouchous from my dear confrère pâtissier- artiste Cédric Grolet. But a tart, however exquisite, is digested and disappears. This book, on the other hand, will last a lifetime.

Some people spend €40 on an evening that's quickly forgotten, a dinner that fades, a bottle that runs dry. Here, you take home a work of art to be consumed with your mind. Think with your mind... and act. Vary your pleasures: a moment that fades, a beauty that remains.
Dare to encounter the essential and its nuances. To write after an inner struggle is to tap into one's inner strength, to rise to the surface after hitting rock bottom. Writing in truth is an act of courage, just like kindness.
I don't want to be part of a world where being kind is a weakness.

That's why I dared to create TheBroithers's, as a nursery rhyme of peace. The essence of my childhood.
