BIO

1995. Childhood image, Inès 5 years old;
(right), in the Sahara (Algeria) with her uncle, an Orientalist painter (left).

Visual artist.

TheBroithers's (a nod to "brother & sister")

is her artist name on the French and international scene.
Her personal first name is Inès - a reference to Inès de La Fressange.
Her mother loved Coco Chanel and was equally fond of this atypical 80s-90s model.

Juggling simplicity and innocence, between poise and a tangy fun-loving side (according to echoes from around the world), accessible-inaccessible, she knows how to wield a trenchant verb.

Self-taught and a student of life.
Her very own fashion. Acidulated. Classy. Racy. Without superfluous artifice - a question of sensibility. Natural. Humble. Resourceful...
Like this echo from the past: Awakened at 4:33 a.m., for her first class at 8 a.m.. Almost three hours commuting to university, Monday to Friday. Not to mention household chores, homework help for the neighborhood kids in town, short weekends in the Beaujolais countryside. In spite of it all, she graduated with honors. And a master's degree in Arts, Literature and Education.
She liked part of what she was doing, but she lacked what really made her tick.
Determined.

She knows the taste and sweetness of a difficult life.

Resilient.

Her academic background has prepared her to create sincere art rooted in human life and experience.

"In fact, everything I'd done so far... all those hours, efforts, ordinary and intense moments, hearts, patience... had prepared me for this moment."

Self-taught. Flag of his art.

Art nourished by life and color

Attracted by symbols, prehistory, Edward Hopper, abstract art, pop colors, street art materials as well as more classic mediums and much more.

"Touching. I can't take it anymore.
One of the few things I'm a little proud of."

His works are clearly influenced by his personal experience (in search of Peace), and revolve around notions that transcend national borders: peace, resilience, dignity, equality, love, joie de vivre, gratitude, justice, what is Love? and so on.

They also carry the echo of music:
world music, the tempo of the heart, rock, and later, the beauty of rap and other life experiences.
TheBroithers's: a current for Peace

Self-taught. Art nourished by life and color.

In one of her paintings, she wrote:

Self-taught, nourished by life and color, influenced by prehistory and Hopper, her works reflect peace and music.
Abstract art and symbols, influenced by music and personal life.

" Colors Lives Matter ",

All colors and their different shades count.
Love is also about fighting for your love, because otherwise... what kind of love do we have?

This artistic rendezvous is a sensitive and poetic encounter, at any time of night or day, in a kitchen, a club, a corridor, a hotel, a neighborhood, a train station or airport, a living room, a lawyer's office, a courthouse, in schools, a bedroom, a museum, a police station, a light-free space for secretly daydreaming about a better world, a hospital, an association, a clinic, a confidant's home, a library, a ministry, an international human rights organization, or simply outdoors, in companies or at home. Or cited as an example during an oral exchange, his works hanging in the invisible air of déjà-vu space, without a second thought.

Body-mind, first inner home. A housewarming party, but never celebrated.

Peace.

Artist TheBroithers's came up with this notion to give a home and protection to the world's artists in search of ideals. TheBroithers's believes that all creatures are in search of recognition, well-being, Love and Peace.

An artist for today and tomorrow

This artistic movement, which she decided to name (a word she invented, protected to share it), out of strong self-mockery, a friendly wink at the word "déjà vu" and gentle teasing of herself and others, honors the needs of the living. It pursues this desire to make the invisible visible, to bring comfort to oneself, to dare innocence, to put words to the untouchable and to unburden Art.

This artistic and literary text is an illuminating short documentary, crafted with conviction, love, patience and perseverance by the artist herself.

It's that universal feeling that humorously binds and brings us together in our differences and nuances.
Drawn by the word and the seemingly déjà-vu symbols, without ever having taken the time to honor our inner pencil stroke, this current was created and named to honor what we all do without ever...
